What a friggin deal!

Seven Springs really has it all.

What really stood out the most is their great packages combining lodging, lifts, and food. We even got a free T-shirt when we checked in as a part of the package!

LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT THE BREAKFAST BUFFET. Heavenly.

I was vegan at the time of this trip (now I’m more flexitarian) and I had tons of options. If you’re an omnivore, it’s almost too much to handle. You really get your moneys worth, the ambiance is nice, and the overall variety of food was great. Be sure to get there EARLY because the line for a table could get quite long.

Another winner in Seven Springs was the ski and snowboard challenges. They have really nice parks and higher level trails, if you’re into the sort of thing. (I’m more a snowboarder who enjoys the sights, sounds, and lift rides rather than one who is trying to play SSX tricky irl.) The guys I was traveling with (boyfriend John and friend Beans) really enjoyed what the mountain had to offer in that regard. They both really challenged themselves, pushed beyond their limits, and had bruises, soreness and ‘fail’ go-pro videos to show for it. Even as a more cautious boarder, I enjoyed the runs and felt comfortable following them down through the parks. There was plenty of space to take an easy run along the sides and miss any elements I wasn’t comfortable with (which is all of them).

The accommodations we stayed in were perfect for this price. Though it was a standard double room hotel style, the furnishings were very rustic and charming. There was plenty of space to gear up, wax, or relax.

It also had a really nice view of the mountain out the window where you could watch newbies float down the hill cautiously or competitive friends race each other to the bottom.

All in all, Seven Springs was one of my favorite place to board this year. Even though I didn’t hit any of the challenge elements or take advantage of the half pipe, I felt that I was able to build up my confidence and really improve my skill overall.

If you have a group of friends at all skill levels, looking for a good package to split over Venmo, I highly recommend Seven Springs!
